8 months and growing.

Cooper is just getting bigger and bigger! He is now wearing 12 month clothes and is just so big! We even had to buy a big boy car seat for him because he was past the weight limit for his new born one. FUN FACTS :You can now eat puffs!! :You sit up and play all by yourself. :You can now get up on your knees. :You pulled yourself up to stand on your feet. (did that for the first time a couple days ago, I couldnt believe it!) :You say DADADADADADADA :) close enough to DADA :You roll around from one side of the room to the other. :You can pick out one by one blocks out of your bucket and put them back. :You throw little tantrums. But they sure are the cutest tantrums I have seen! :You hold your own bottle. :You are the sweetest little boy in the whole wide world! I am blessed to be your momma.

What a mess!

Well.. Cam and I are back in Logan! We couldn't be any happier. If someone even says the word "Texas" I cringe. Not that I hate Texas. But all I can think of when I hear it is all the CRAP that Cam and I had to deal with. We DID NOT think it would turn out the way that it did. After 4 hours of a long and hot plane ride....we get to Texas. Our friend Taylor came and picked us up. While we were waiting for him to pick us up. A cute lady comes and sits by us. Talked to me like we were best friends! I would have to say Texans are the nicest people I have ever met! So that's one things out of only a few that I liked about Texas. As soon as I step outside I couldn't believe the humidity! I have never been to a very humid place before. HOLY COW it was so different from Logan. I just thought to myself how can anyone do anything in this weather??!! But you do get used to it. We Get to the apartment at about midnight and all Cam, Coop, and I wanted to do was go to bed! We were told that we would get a crib with the apartment so we didn't have to bother bring ours. GUESS WHAT?? was there a crib?? NO! To make things even worse the AC wasn't working. So we HAD a long night to say the least. Great way to start off??!! Even before all this stuff happened we had to deal with some not so fun things. That right there should have been a sign for us not to go. But we wanted to try it and stick with it. We knew that it would be hard. But not like this! We were debating weather or not to go. We thought that it was a good idea. But the person that signed Cam to pinnacle switched companies 3 days before we were supposed to go to Texas. 3 freaking days!! He wanted us to go with him to a completely different company in a completely different place. CHICAGO! We had plane tickets to Texas, Our car was out in Texas along with all of our stuff. So we could fly with coop. 26 hours is a LONG drive for a little one. we were back and forth to stay with Pinnacle or to go with this other company. We were mad! But we choose Texas. After we get there we needed to get into our car and we didn't have the keys! One of the guys that went with cams old manager took our keys with him. He was 6 hours away from Texas. So we couldn't even get our stuff! After those 2 crazy days and about a week later we get the keys back things started to settle down and we started to get into the groove of things. But we just felt it wasn't the right choice. Cam was gone from about 11 am until 11pm on good days! They had to sell outside of Houston. So they had to drive at least 2 hours away everyday. So some nights he wasn't even able to come home at night. THAT was hard. But things happened and we were meant to come. We tried but it just didn't work. Being out there has sure made me appreciate Logan! You never appreciate things until they are gone. Sorry I am being negative in this post. BUT I just had to vent about the last month! Lets just forget the month of May and Move on! Things are looking up for us! Cam now has a job here and we have an apartment we get to move into this Saturday! We are excited. Feeling very blessed to be home and be around the ones we love!

A Day at the zoo.

Since Cam only has Sundays off we decided that we would have "Sunday Funday." Every Sunday we would go out of the house and do something. ANYTHING is fine by me as long as I am out! We thought it would be a good idea to take Coop to the Zoo. It was about 35 mins away (which is typical living in a big city.) But we didn't realize that it would take just as long to find a parking spot! We got there and it was PACKED! There were about 5 different parking areas that were made just for zoo parking. Well they were all full. We probably spent about 30 mins just driving around trying to find a spot. We finally just followed a family that we saw leaving and seriously had to wait for them get in the car so we could park. Very different from good old Logan! But it was worth it. It was a good day. It made it even better knowing that I had the whole day with Cam.

Alot of changes!

Where do I start.. So many changes have happened these past couple of days. Talk about an emotional roller coaster! As most of you know Cam and I have been planning to move our little family to Texas. We were going to go out the last week in April. Some of the guys that Cam had been selling with headed out the first of April. We thought we would go see Cams family down in AZ before we headed out. So we packed up our Durango with all of our things such as Coopers High Chair, Some Clothes, etc. and had one of our friends that Cam was selling with drive down. We sure as heck didn't want to drive 24 hours with a little one. Well.... three days before we were supposed to leave Cams OLD manager decided that he wanted to change companies. 3 days BEFORE! We had already bough our plane tickets, Our car with all of our things in it was down in TX. We didn't know what to do! We had made all these plans to go. We thought well maybe we should stay in Logan and not go out at all.Then we thought we would follow Cams old manager and go out with him. THEN we thought we would stay with the same company just with a different manager. But after all the mess we decided one thing the next we decided another. But we both thought that the right choice was coming to Houston, stay with the same company just a different manager. We have been out here for 3 days now! We both have never lived outside of Utah. So talk about a big change. Things will be a little rough and take some time to get used too. Cam works every day but Sundays. I dont know anyone here. But at least I have my cute little boy to keep my company! He sure knows how to make his Mommy laugh.

So Sleepy! He sure has had some big changes over the past couple of weeks.
