A Day at the zoo.

Since Cam only has Sundays off we decided that we would have "Sunday Funday." Every Sunday we would go out of the house and do something. ANYTHING is fine by me as long as I am out! We thought it would be a good idea to take Coop to the Zoo. It was about 35 mins away (which is typical living in a big city.) But we didn't realize that it would take just as long to find a parking spot! We got there and it was PACKED! There were about 5 different parking areas that were made just for zoo parking. Well they were all full. We probably spent about 30 mins just driving around trying to find a spot. We finally just followed a family that we saw leaving and seriously had to wait for them get in the car so we could park. Very different from good old Logan! But it was worth it. It was a good day. It made it even better knowing that I had the whole day with Cam.

Alot of changes!

Where do I start.. So many changes have happened these past couple of days. Talk about an emotional roller coaster! As most of you know Cam and I have been planning to move our little family to Texas. We were going to go out the last week in April. Some of the guys that Cam had been selling with headed out the first of April. We thought we would go see Cams family down in AZ before we headed out. So we packed up our Durango with all of our things such as Coopers High Chair, Some Clothes, etc. and had one of our friends that Cam was selling with drive down. We sure as heck didn't want to drive 24 hours with a little one. Well.... three days before we were supposed to leave Cams OLD manager decided that he wanted to change companies. 3 days BEFORE! We had already bough our plane tickets, Our car with all of our things in it was down in TX. We didn't know what to do! We had made all these plans to go. We thought well maybe we should stay in Logan and not go out at all.Then we thought we would follow Cams old manager and go out with him. THEN we thought we would stay with the same company just with a different manager. But after all the mess we decided one thing the next we decided another. But we both thought that the right choice was coming to Houston, stay with the same company just a different manager. We have been out here for 3 days now! We both have never lived outside of Utah. So talk about a big change. Things will be a little rough and take some time to get used too. Cam works every day but Sundays. I dont know anyone here. But at least I have my cute little boy to keep my company! He sure knows how to make his Mommy laugh.

So Sleepy! He sure has had some big changes over the past couple of weeks.

He loves bath time. He was being a stinker and wouldnt look at me. Finally when he did this is the face that he pulled!

For the past couple of days Cooper has decided its now time for him to be even more a big boy by growing some teeth! Like they dont grow up fast enough!! These past 2 days he sure has had a rough time. We went to the mall the other night and Grandma and Grandpa Carter watched him for us. When we got back Jo-anne said that he had a little freak out but I just thought that it was because we had left. Well the next day we noticed Lots of drool! Runny nose, wanting things constantly in his mouth, moments of really hard crying to the point where he isnt even breathing! He's never done that before. Not like my happy, go lucky baby. He still is really happy and sweet(of course ) but there is a few hours out of the day where he is just so upset. Makes me feel horrible! I cant imagine how it feels. Good thing we dont remember right? My cousin had told me about a teething necklace made out of Amber. Its an essential oil that helps with heeling. She says that she swears by it. I wasnt so sure. But I have heard from a couple of people that they really do work! So I ordered one hoping it will help! Im just hoping his tooth breaks through soon!!!!

Coop's first time swimming!

On April 6th we decided that it would be fun to take our little Coop swimming. The weather was nice so why not?? Well.... He didnt like it all the much. At least not the pool anyway. It was really cold for some reason. We thought that we would get used to the water first then let Cooper get used to it. Not a good idea! We couldnt even get used to it. Everytime we would set his little feet in the water he would breath really fast. Poor thing :( Mommy and Daddy didnt like it! So we thought we would try the hot tub. I went in first to see how hot it really was. It wasnt nearly as hot as most. So Coop went swimming in the hot tub AND LOVED IT! Just like a big bath that both Mommy and Daddy can fit in too!

Cam, Cooper and I thought it would be a good idea to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Carter before we move to Texas. We have been in Arizona for the past week or so, and we will be until the 18th of April. Grandma and Grandpa are sure having fun with little Coop around. He is too! We plan on taking Cooper swimming for his very first time tomorrow. Im sure looking forward to it. Here are all the fun things Coop has been up too.

As you all know I take alot of pictures of our little Cooper. So I aplogize to all of you who may get sick of seeing coop all the time. But I just cant help it. Hes so darn cute!

We had 6 month pictures taken March 23 rd. Exactly 6 months and 1 day old! How cool is that? These pictures were taken by Charlsie Lyn Photography. She was so pleased with how well Coop was and said that he was such a fun baby too shoot. I think he loved all the attention. :) She did such a good job. Wish that I could use her again but she is moving so we got a great deal!

I know I posted these on Fb already. I have more but we are out of town and these ones are the only ones that I have for now. When I get back to Logan I will post more.

6 months!

My little boy isnt so little anymore! He is now 6 months! He weighs 17 pounds and 26 inches long! Here are all the things that you have learned in just the half of year that you have been here.

: You can sit up by yourself for over a min.
: You love to eat, eat and EAT!
: You love to snuggle.
: You can hold your own bink and put it in your mouth.
: You have the cutest laugh.
: You love to talk our ears off!
: You can hold your head up for 10 mins during tummy time.
: You love to play peek a boo.
: You can roll over.
: You can go all night without a bottle.
: You sleep through the night.
: You love to jump, jump and JUMP!
: You have the funniest angry face. (which he just recently started about 2 days ago).
: You make your momma and daddy so happy that you are in their lives, and they sure couldnt live without you.

There is just a handful of examples of all the things that my big boy can now do. I cant believe how fast 6 months have gone by and I look forward to what the many years bring with our little Coop. We sure are blessed to have such a perfect little boy!
